In 1976 at the young age of fifteen, Stephen Garner started out in the industry as an apprentice letter cutter working for a major firm in Adelaide. After several years, Stephen gained experience in the monumental industry working with several leading monumental masons learning about the trade.

Then in 1982, Stephen started up Memorial Lettering Service, contracting to major firms in Adelaide and learning new skills in carving granite. Then in 1998, Stephen and his wife Cathy decided to move into a new premises and start the business ‘Garner Memorials’, where they promised to give the public/clients more value for money, selling direct to the public.

As a monumental mason having over thirty years experience in the industry, Stephen Garner at Garner Memorials has provided the community with quality workmanship and a dedication to customer satisfaction.
