Polynesian Funerals is a 100% Queensland family owned and operated business servicing the Polynesian Community.
The initiative of Polynesian Funerals is to provide an inexpensive, caring and understanding funeral service to the whole Polynesian community. Polynesian Funerals are attuned to the customs and beliefs of people emanating from Polynesia. We fully understand the custom of taking the deceased back to the family home to allow the family and friends to mourn the loss and celebrate the life of the deceased without the harsh time constraints of the European society. Our aim is to allow the Polynesian community of any faith the opportunity of arranging the funeral of their loved one with an experienced, caring person who understands the beliefs and customs in a way that only a Polynesian person can.
Polynesian Funerals are not just for the Maori and Samoan people; we offer a complete service to all people, faiths and beliefs at all hours of the day all days of the week. At this time we have a Maori and Samoan speaking funeral directors with us but in time we hope to have perhaps a Tongan or Fijian funeral director as part of our team.
