IN THE FACTORY

Fibreboard caskets are evironmentally friendly caskets that meet the standards required by the funeral industry for the use in the funeral service, burial or cremation. Caskets use to be made of timber but most coffins made in Australia are made of the cheaper particle board, customwood, craftwood or chip board compressed into a solid sheet.
The sheet is veneered to give a wood like finish.
Fibreboard coffins use wood fibre sourced from recycled paper and paper boxes and compressed into solid corrugated and fluted layers as can be seen in the photos.

These coffins and caskets are made of eco/enviro friendly corrugated Fibre board
Corrugated Fibre board is made from wood fibre sourced from 100% recycled paper,and is double the strength of the honeycomb cardboard.
Most of our competitors caskets have been tested by Test safe Australia to take weights of up to 120kgs. 

Our Caskets have been tested to support weights of up to160kg and release up to 2/3rd less the hydrocarbons and CO2 of other MDF or wood coffins. 

This has to be good for the environment !
