Do you have a retail showroom we can come and visit?

No we do not have a retail showroom. In order to keep our prices as low as possible, we have chosen to operate our business solely online. If you need to see any of our coffins, caskets or urns in greater detail please contact us to request a large format brochure.

 

Are your coffins and caskets available in different colours?

Yes we have a beautiful white coffin in the same style as our Colonial coffin. We are currently waiting for the photos to list it on our website. This white coffin model in stored in Sydney and can be delivered the next day. Delivery to Melbourne can take three days.

 

Are there any laws that prevent me supplying the coffin?

No there are no laws against it. You are perfectly within your right to supply the coffin from an independent supplier such as Caskets Direct.

 

How can I be sure the coffin is good quality?

Our coffins have been designed in Australia to strict specifications to ensure they meet all Australian standards. Furthermore our coffins have undergone and successfully passed stringent testing at Test Safe Australia. As a result we are happy to fully guarantee our coffins and caskets and can provide you with testing results and a letter of guarantee upon request.

 

My chosen funeral home is hesitant of the idea of me supplying the coffin, what now?

Although this is rare, most funeral homes are happy to accept our coffins, on occasion we have come across this situation. We suggest you start by reassuring the funeral director that all Caskets Direct products have passed testing at Test Safe and come fully guaranteed. Should they require documentation please let us know, we are happy to provide a testing report and the manufacturer’s letter of guarantee. If after all this the funeral home still don’t want to help you with their services don’t worry, there are plenty of funeral directors that will respect your decision and they will be happy to have your business.

 

Do you rent out coffins?

No we do not rent coffins or caskets.

 

Do you have any seconds or damaged stock you would like to sell at a discount?

No, I'm sorry we do not. All our coffins are made to strict specifications and have all passed Australia’s most stringent testing at Test Safe, as such they are only sold in perfect condition.

 

Can I collect the coffin to save on delivery?

Yes! You are more than welcome to pick up the coffin or casket from our warehouse in Tottenham Victoria. All our coffins and caskets are well packed in plain thick cardboard packaging to protect them during transportation. Please note that you will need a van for transportation.

 

Can you store my purchase until we need it?

Unfortunately we do not have storage facilities which will allow us to provide a service of this nature. All orders are dispatched immediately after payment is received.

 

Do you deliver outside Australia?

We sell and ship our memorial jewellery worldwide, while our coffins and urns are only available to people living in Australia.

 

I need an urn urgently. Do you have any of your urns available for immediate collection?

We now have limited stock of a small selection of our cremation urns available for collection from our Melbourne office.

 

Do you sell white coffins?
