Testimonials on our Products & Services

By: Newhaven Funerals

"Dear All Staff of Newhaven Funerals,

Some time has past since last February when our family suffered the tragic loss of our beloved baby. Most deaths are unexpected and all deaths are sad, however the death of a young child holds a special sadness in the hearts of all and changes the balance of life forever for all who’s lives were touched by the child.

From the moment of my first phone call to Newhaven Funerals to the moment we finally had to leave our baby in Gods care, your staff were simply amazing. Your compassion, understanding and consideration on every level made this, the hardest task of my life, an easier burden to bare. Most importantly your kind and gentle words and complete understanding was woven into an incredibly personal yet enlightening service that has helped us to accept and enabled us to mourn our baby in a healthy way. It was the special words and care of your staff that helped us to understand he will forever be untouched by bad or negative and will remain with the angels in a good and beautiful world.

My family send our eternal thanks to all the staff at Newhaven Funerals. We will see you again when we need to place any member of our family in Gods care, because we know your care will help to take them there with gentle understanding.

On behalf of the staff and consumers at the Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit, Gold Coast Hospital, I would like to take this opportunity of thanking you for your generous offer to sponsor the printing of the Grief Resource Guide.

It's very gratifying to know there are people in the community, like yourselves, who will open their hearts so willingly to help others."

"Hi Phil and Tim,

I can't remember whether I said a proper 'thank you' or even whether I wrote you a testimonial soon after Dad's funeral, so here it is. First directly to the two of you and your staff, thank you for making a really hard time much easier. It meant so much to us to have you as the funeral director, especially as you'd buried our Grandmother almost 10 years earlier and because you knew Dad personally. I'd especially like to thank Tim for taking time out during the Christmas New Year period, to look after us during our sad loss. His attention to detail and professionalism I am sure is something he displays with every family however, it felt personal and for that we thank him. If you want to use this as a testimonial you are of course welcome.

With love and gratitude,"

"Sorry I haven't been in touch sooner, but it has been quite manic since returning to the UK.....and yes...the weather has been dreadful...rain most days, and a lot cooler than normal...Oh to be in England, etc, etc !

I just wanted to say a really big thank you for the hospitality that you showed Sandy and I. Our visit to your lovely funeral home was very enlightening and the setting was beautiful. To work in such surroundings on a daily basis must be incredible. Your whole operation was a real eye opener. So self contained. I love the way that you seem to be taking your company forward.

Once again, thank you for taking the time out of your hectic schedule to make us feel so welcome. We have not made a decision, yet, about our future, but I will keep in touch and let you know what we decide. Good luck to you, and your family, with everything that you do."

"Dear Christine,

This is just a short note to thank you so much for your donation to our AATA Assistance Dogs Support Appeal last year. I must apologise most sincerely for the time it has taken to thank you. We receive notices of donations after the month is completed and unfortunately the notice for November arrived after we had already left for a month long break in December – during which time we were forced to close the office.

It was such a lovely surprise to come home to though!

To date, yours is the largest donation we have ever received online, or at all, except for our sponsors. $300 will feed one Assistance Dog for a whole year. Thank you!!

I cannot begin to tell you how much your donation was appreciated. We would like to wish you and your family a Happy New Year for 2007.

Kind Regards,"
